We have been working with the talented chefs at Sharrow Bay to produce Sticky Toffee and Chocolate & Ginger Puddings. These make perfect gifts - and were featured in the Sunday Times Christmas Present List in 2008 as one of the best Christmas Gifts for under £10. We also have a trio of sophisticated Ultimate Sponge Puddings - in strikingly beautiful packaging.
Many of our products have won Gold Great Taste Awards - and we also make puddings for lots of famous names... such as Harvey Nichols, Lakeland Limited and the Wine Society. In summer 2009 we took over Demels - a small producer of our favourite chutneys. These Sri Lankan inspired chutneys are terriffic and we couldn't bear to think of them disappearing - so we bought the company! Demels is a Rick Stein "Food Hero" and the recipes have won multiple Gold Great Taste Awards. They really are far more than just chutney - they are a versatile ingredient that will add clean, exotic flavour to all sorts of dishes.
Everything is made in small batches in Kendal, Cumbria, using carefully chosen ingredients and traditional methods.
